What You’ll Do
- Attend to and resolve IT-related action requests promptly.
- Respond to network-related calls and address issues immediately.
- Initiate and participate in ICT projects, ensuring timely implementation.
- Render information security, backup, and recovery services.
- Conduct user awareness workshops to promote technology use.
- Perform hardware and software audits to maintain system integrity.
- Communicate efficiently with officials regarding incidents and logged calls.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma or advanced certificate in IT or an equivalent NQF 6 qualification.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT (NQF 7) is an added advantage.
- Certifications such as A+, N+, CISCO, and CCNA will be beneficial.
- A minimum of two years’ relevant practical experience in an IT environment.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure technology and software configuration.
- Proficiency in network operating systems and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and report writing skills.
- Problem-solving and project management abilities; a team player.
