About the Opportunity

The Government Printing Works is offering a 24-month Graduate Internship Programme designed to provide unemployed South African graduates with practical workplace experience. This programme is a stepping stone for graduates to gain exposure relevant to their qualifications, enhancing their employability in the competitive job market.

Closing Date

Applications must be submitted by 19 October 2026 at 16:00 for hand-delivered applications and by 23:59 for online submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Interns will engage in structured workplace training, participate in departmental projects, and assist with capacity-building initiatives. This hands-on experience is tailored to align with their field of study, under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

Requirements/Qualifications

Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens with relevant qualifications. They should not have previously participated in an internship programme and must submit a separate application for each position of interest. Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Benefits

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R8 174.75, providing financial support during the programme.

Applicants need to submit a completed and signed new Z83 Application Form and a CV. Only shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide certified copies of qualifications and other documents during the interview process.
