What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.
  • Develop and update cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained regularly.
  • Oversee the cleaning of offices, corridors, kitchens, restrooms, elevators, and boardrooms.
  • Manage cleaning services for the surrounding premises and grounds.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and replacement of cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Make requisitions and issue cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Provide guidance and training to cleaning staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF level 04 as recognized by SAQA.
  • Knowledge of machine operations and working procedures relevant to cleaning environments.

Job Duties

Supervise cleaners: Perform administrative and related functions.

Provide guidance and advice to cleaners.

Develop and update the cleaning roster.

Provision and monitor of cleaning services: Oversee and monitor cleaning of: Offices.

Corridors.

General kitchen.

Restrooms.

Elevators.

Boardrooms.

Provision and monitor of grounds services: Oversee and monitor cleaning of: Surroundings.

Premises.

Manage and ensure the maintenance and replacement of cleaning materials and equipment’s: Maintain and replace cleaning machines and equipment’s.

Make a requisition and issue cleaning materials.

Salary

R201 093 per annum (Level 04)
