What You’ll Do
- Render financial accounting transactions and support financial operations.
- Receive and verify invoices for correctness and process payments.
- Perform filing and document management for all financial records.
- Provide salary administration support, including processing salary advices and adjustments.
- Capture financial transactions and maintain accurate records of debtors and creditors.
- Process electronic banking transactions and compile financial journals.
- Monitor and follow up on debtor accounts, ensuring timely collections.
- Assist in budget support services, comparing actual expenditure against budget and identifying variances.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate is mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of financial functions and practices.
- Proficiency in data capturing and operating a computer.
- Understanding of Public Service financial legislation and Treasury Regulations.
- Familiarity with financial operating systems such as PERSAL, BAS, and LOGIS.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic numeracy skills for financial calculations.
