What You’ll Do

  • Mainstream HIV/AIDS and TB awareness into departmental functions.
  • Develop and implement educational programs on prevention and health management.
  • Conduct regular health screenings and distribute wellness information.
  • Coordinate disease management and chronic illness awareness sessions.
  • Support managers with incapacity cases and mental health referrals.
  • Promote work-life balance and provide wellness interventions, including counseling.
  • Facilitate group counseling sessions and manage feedback on referred cases.
  • Organize mental health information sessions and wellness workshops.
  • Encourage physical wellness through sports and retirement planning sessions.
  • Assist with medical health surveillance for employees in hazardous environments.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Social Science or a related field.
  • Registration with professional bodies such as SACSSP and HPCSA.
  • Relevant experience in employee health and wellness.
  • Knowledge of HIV as a developmental issue and employee wellness practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and conduct research.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
