What You’ll Do
- Provide desktop support to end-users to ensure efficient technology use.
- Install, update, and configure end-user devices and business applications.
- Investigate, resolve, or escalate logged calls related to IT issues.
- Assist users with LAN connectivity and monitor network performance.
- Support server room operations, ensuring compliance with maintenance contracts.
- Implement information system security measures and maintain an IT asset register.
- Generate ICT reports on incidents, system availability, and SLA compliance.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Information Technology or a Degree in Computer Science.
- Certifications such as A+, N+, MCSE, or Linux+ are required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT technical support.
- Knowledge of hardware, software, servers, and network management.
- Strong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
