What You’ll Do
- Identify and address regulatory and legislative barriers affecting economic growth.
- Streamline business-facing services to improve operational efficiency.
- Advocate for red tape reduction among stakeholders, raising awareness of its importance.
- Facilitate the resolution of red tape inquiries and business complaints.
- Lead recruitment and drive employee development initiatives within the Directorate.
- Oversee performance management and promote sound labour relations.
- Guide strategic planning and business planning processes for the Directorate.
- Manage budgeting processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic objectives.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate legal qualification (NQF level 7) recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years of middle and/or senior management experience.
- Strong strategic capability and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of government processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in project and programme management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of business development support measures.
- Financial management expertise.
