About the Opportunity
Join Nongoma Local Municipality’s Finance Department as a Financial Management Intern. This two-year internship offers practical experience in municipal financial management, providing exposure across various financial areas and involvement in learning activities aligned with the Municipal Finance Management Act.

Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will:

Requirements/Qualifications
Applicants must:
– Be aged between 18 and 35 years.
– Hold a Grade 12 certificate.
– Possess a minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or Management Accounting.
– Have good verbal and written communication skills.
– Be computer literate.
– Ensure academic documents clearly reflect relevant Accounting or Finance subjects.
Benefits
Interns will receive a basic salary of R100,000 per annum. The internship provides valuable municipal finance experience but does not guarantee permanent employment.
