What You’ll Do

• Provide technical and administrative support to the Minister.
• Lead the development and implementation of policies and standards for public service transformation.
• Serve as the Accounting Officer and Head of the Department.
• Create and maintain a strategic leadership framework for departmental initiatives.
• Ensure effective governance processes and compliance within the department.
• Manage employee performance and development within the department.
• Foster inter-governmental relations and participate in national forums.

What You’ll Need

• A postgraduate qualification in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Economic and Management Sciences, Law, or a related field (NQF level 8).
• At least 10 years of experience in a senior managerial position.
• Proven track record in leading and transforming organizations.
• Extensive experience in policy analysis and public policy development.
• Strong knowledge of Public Administration theories, relevant legislation, and government policies.
• Advanced skills in strategic management, financial management, and risk management.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
