What You’ll Do
- Provide technical and administrative support to the Minister.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies and standards for public service transformation.
- Serve as the Accounting Officer and Head of the Department.
- Create and maintain a strategic leadership framework for departmental initiatives.
- Ensure effective governance processes and compliance within the department.
- Manage employee performance and development within the department.
- Foster inter-governmental relations and participate in national forums.
What You’ll Need
- A postgraduate qualification in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Economic and Management Sciences, Law, or a related field (NQF level 8).
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior managerial position.
- Proven track record in leading and transforming organizations.
- Extensive experience in policy analysis and public policy development.
- Strong knowledge of Public Administration theories, relevant legislation, and government policies.
- Advanced skills in strategic management, financial management, and risk management.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
