About the Role
The National Skills Fund (NSF) is looking for a dedicated Director Executive Monitoring and Evaluation based in Pretoria. This key role provides critical executive monitoring and evaluation support directly to the CEO, focusing on vital priorities and governance decisions. What You’ll Do
- Provide executive monitoring and evaluation support to the CEO on key priorities and governance decisions.
- Develop and maintain an executive tracking dashboard for priority commitments.
- Consolidate evidence-based progress reports for the CEO and executive leadership structures.
- Track the implementation of decisions from various governance engagements.
- Identify delays, risks, and unresolved actions requiring CEO intervention.
- Support the quality of reporting on CEO-directed workstreams and institutional transitions.
- Manage the performance of employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources.
- Prepare monthly reports and presentations for the executive leadership.
- Oversee public liaison services, ensuring timely resolution of public complaints or queries.
- Monitor budget expenditure against allocated resources.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in a relevant field (NQF Level 7).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
- Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service SMS pre-entry programme.
- Experience in executive monitoring, evaluation, and strategic reporting.
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and public service regulations.
- Strong competencies in strategic leadership, project management, and financial management.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
