What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic support to the Executive Officer and oversee all strategic initiatives within the NSF.
- Plan and implement strategic initiatives that align with the NSF’s mission and goals.
- Conduct assessments to measure the success of strategic decisions and initiatives.
- Develop and compile reports on strategic initiatives as required.
- Scrutinise documents and ensure effective communication of actions required.
- Record minutes and resolutions from meetings, following up on progress.
- Coordinate branch meetings, logistics, and parliamentary inquiries.
- Assist the Executive Officer in formulating policy recommendations and attend senior management meetings.
- Manage administrative functions and ensure efficiency within the Executive Office.
- Oversee public liaison services and monitor the resolution of public complaints.
- Manage resources and monitor expenditure against the allocated budget.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree/advanced diploma (NQF Level 7) in Public Management, Administration, or Project Management.
- A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, with at least three years at a junior management level.
- Proven experience in project management and managing resources effectively.
- Knowledge of public service, NSF mandates, and government legislation.
- Strong strategic capability, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, analysis, and project management.
- Good computer skills and a valid driver’s license, with a willingness to travel.
