What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the acquisition processes for movable assets at the service centre.
  • Facilitate the operation and maintenance of all movable assets to ensure optimal performance.
  • Oversee the disposal process of movable assets, complying with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and contribute to the development of Movable Asset Management policies.
  • Manage and allocate resources within the division to enhance operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • An Advanced Diploma or Degree (NQF level 7) in Financial Management, Project Management, or Public Administration.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience or equivalent experience as an Administrative Officer in Asset Management.
  • Solid understanding of the Public Service Act, PFMA, SCM practices, and asset management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage conflicts.
  • Proficiency in financial management and project management principles.
