What You’ll Do

  • Advise on legal and litigation matters within the NSF.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
  • Develop operational plans regarding legal matters and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Facilitate internal training on legal and regulatory topics to enhance staff knowledge.
  • Manage relationships with third-party legal advisors and interpret complex legal information.
  • Participate in committees and negotiate documentation for transactions with third parties.
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish governance frameworks to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Support the performance management of team members and foster a culture of high performance.

What You’ll Need

  • An LLB degree and admission as an attorney or advocate.
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years at a junior management level in legal, governance, or compliance.
  • Knowledge of legislative frameworks governing the public sector.
  • Strong communication, research, and policy formulation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
