What You’ll Do
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of skills development projects within the portfolio.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on operational performance and funding of projects.
- Conduct expenditure verification and performance information verification related to projects.
- Coordinate physical verification across various project sites.
- Manage all documentation and information for knowledge management purposes.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate effective project management.
- Participate actively in regional structures and platforms for skills development.
- Lead and manage staff under your supervision.
- Provide strategic advice regarding skills development activities to the regional head.
- Collaborate in developing a project management framework for the region.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma (NQF Level 7) in Public Management/Administration, Project Management, or Business Management.
- At least five years of experience in project management, with three to five years in a junior management role.
- Proven track record in managing large projects or portfolios in the public or private sector is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency in monitoring and evaluation, report writing, and project management.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
