What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement the Provincial protocol policy.
  • Provide protocol support to the Premier and Executive Council during state visits and official functions.
  • Coordinate all Provincial protocol services, ensuring seamless execution of events.
  • Compile and present detailed reports on protocol matters to stakeholders.
  • Manage human, financial, and physical resources related to protocol services.
  • Oversee the provision of administrative support services within the protocol team.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced National Diploma in International Relations, Protocol, Public Management, or a related field (NQF 7).
  • A minimum of three years’ experience at a Junior Management level in a protocol-related environment.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong skills in Protocol Services, Strategic Capability, Leadership, and Financial Management.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability in change management and client orientation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage people and projects effectively.
