About the Role
The National Skills Fund (NSF) is seeking a dedicated Deputy Director: Organisational Design to join its dynamic team based in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Conduct functional analyses to determine optimal organisational structures and reporting lines.
- Develop and maintain proposals for organisational structures, ensuring compliance with DPSA and Treasury guidelines.
- Lead work-study investigations to assess post numbers and workload distributions.
- Create and review job descriptions to align with the NSF’s approved structure and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate job evaluation processes and prepare submissions for approval.
- Develop business process maps and standard operating procedures for HR processes.
- Monitor the implementation of structural changes and report on progress.
- Supervise and manage performance within the sub-directorate.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management, Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field.
- A postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8 or higher) is advantageous.
- At least five years of relevant experience in organisational design or post establishment management, including three years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in developing organisational structures, conducting work-study investigations, or coordinating job evaluations is essential.
- Understanding of the Public Service Act, DPSA guidelines, and the Compensate job evaluation system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PERSAL is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are required.
