What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and monitor the NSF Human Resource Plan in compliance with relevant legislation and directives.
- Oversee the coordination of the NSF Employment Equity Plan and prepare necessary statutory reports for submission.
- Manage the development and implementation of the NSF’s HR strategy to align with its Strategic Plan 2025-2030.
- Review and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring they remain current and accessible.
- Compile and submit HR compliance reports to various oversight bodies within designated timeframes.
- Ensure data integrity in the HR management information system and generate analytical reports for management.
- Monitor compliance with HR regulations and develop corrective action plans where necessary.
- Liaise with the Department of Public Service and Administration and other relevant bodies on HR matters.
- Supervise and manage the performance of the HR team within the sub-directorate.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma (NQF Level 7) in Human Resources Management or related field.
- A minimum of five years’ relevant experience in HR strategy, planning, or compliance, including at least three years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of the Public Service Act, Employment Equity Act, and other relevant HR legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PERSAL HR administration.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate policies into actionable HR plans.
- A valid driver’s licence is required.
