What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and develop comprehensive human resource plans that comply with established frameworks.
  • Integrate workforce analytics and forecasting models to identify and address capacity gaps.
  • Conduct analyses on human resource management policies and recommend actions to enhance equity and inclusivity.
  • Monitor and maintain the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and ensure compliance with digital standards.
  • Produce human resource analytics reports that inform governance and operational improvements.
  • Facilitate the development and review of the Employment Equity Plan, promoting compliance and transformation initiatives.
  • Oversee the Compensation of Employee (CoE) costing model, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Develop and review human resource management policies, keeping abreast of public service trends and legislation.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate (Matric) and a minimum of three years’ qualification at NQF level 6 or 7 in Human Resource Management, Public Management, or related fields.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR planning, systems, and policy development, preferably at the Assistant Director level.
  • Familiarity with the PERSAL system and knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Employment Equity Act and Labour Relations Act.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret human resource data effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating integrity and accountability.
