What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Human Resources Management Branch.
- Develop and implement human resource strategies aligned with the Department’s goals.
- Oversee the management of human, financial, and physical resources within the HR branch.

- Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and internal control processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and partnerships to support strategic objectives.
- Implement best practices in human resources policies and frameworks.
- Promote a people-centred service delivery ethos across the Department.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field at NQF level 8.
- At least 8 years of experience at a Senior Management level.
- Proven track record in strategic human resource management and organisational development.
- Extensive knowledge of public sector frameworks, policies, and governance.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on innovation and digital transformation.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
