What You’ll Do

• Investigate all allegations of fraud and corruption from internal and external sources.
• Conduct statement taking and evidence collection, drafting preliminary investigative reports.
• Develop and implement anti-corruption strategies and educational programs.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments and detect suspicious patterns in data.
• Create an ethical environment that promotes good governance within the department.
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage awareness sessions about fraud prevention.
• Ensure compliance with financial disclosure frameworks for designated employees.
• Manage resources effectively, including human resources and equipment.

What You’ll Need

• A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree (NQF Level 7) in Forensic Investigation, Risk Management, Internal Auditing, or Forensic Auditing.
• 3-5 years of experience at an Assistant Director level in a fraud and anti-corruption investigation environment.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and public service regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially at an executive management level.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in report writing, policy development, and strategic planning.
