What You’ll Do

  • Manage the schedules and organization of committee meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Compile and assemble documentation for meetings, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels within the committees and with external stakeholders.
  • Assist in proofreading and quality control of documents for presentations at committee meetings.
  • Coordinate oversight of committee decisions to align with organizational goals.
  • Provide research support related to matters addressed during committee meetings to assist with recommendations.
  • Assist the budget manager in collating budgetary documents and provide insights on expenditure.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and prescripts by applying correct procedures.
  • Initiate cost containment measures in line with directives and stay updated on changes to policies.
  • Coordinate projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders involved in planning and development.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma (NQF Level 06) in Public Administration or Business Management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) is advantageous.
  • At least four years of experience, with two years at an Assistant Director level or equivalent in executive office management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Public Service Policy Framework concerning finance and human resource practices.
  • Strong understanding of the operational setup of an executive office and experience in policy analysis.
