What You’ll Do

  • Manage and provide technological advisory services to engineers and other professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Solve technological challenges using proven techniques and procedures.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage current technologies in the materials laboratory.
  • Evaluate existing technical manuals and standard drawings to integrate new technology.
  • Ensure quality assurance of technical designs and make recommendations for approval.
  • Provide inputs for budgeting and compile reports as required.
  • Manage databases and supervise technological personnel and assets.
  • Conduct research and continuous professional development to stay updated with new technologies.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Engineering or a relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of six years of post-qualification experience as an Engineering Technologist.
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist.
  • A valid code B driving license.
  • Strong project management and technical design skills.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance, technical report writing, and consulting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and team leadership abilities.
  • Competence in computer-aided engineering applications and materials data analysis.
