What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized clinical technology support in cardiology services.
• Rotate through various specialized areas, including cardiac catheterization and echocardiography.
• Assist in the performance of non-invasive and invasive cardiology procedures.
• Deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Participate in a 24-hour standby service, including after-hours, weekends, and public holidays.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Technologist: Cardiology.
• Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist: Cardiology.
• Relevant experience based on your grade:
• Grade 1: None for RSA qualified; one year for foreign qualified.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years for RSA qualified; 11 years for foreign qualified.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years for RSA qualified; 21 years for foreign qualified.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and cardiac pacing.
