What You’ll Do

  • Perform and report on clinical technology neurophysiology procedures independently.
  • Ensure high-quality recordings and accuracy in patient reports.
  • Manage data storage, patient care statistics, and stock control.
  • Participate in teaching and training students and neurology registrars.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and checks on neurophysiology equipment.
  • Promote patient care and safety during all procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and Batho Pele principles in service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • Diploma or B Tech Degree in Clinical Technology Neurophysiology.
  • Independent Practice Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist in Neurophysiology.
  • Current registration and good standing with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
  • Relevant experience post-registration, varying by grade level (Grade 1, 2, or 3).
  • Competency in performing various neurophysiology studies across all age groups.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
