What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of SAPS premises to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including polishing furniture and floors, vacuuming carpets, and mopping.
• Remove refuse and maintain cleanliness in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Uphold confidentiality and handle classified documents according to the relevant protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and other officials in a professional manner.
• Be willing to extend work hours when necessary to meet operational needs.

What You’ll Need

• Competency in performing the core cleaning functions of the role.
• Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
• A valid ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7 certificate (NQF Level 1 as recognized by SAQA).
• Ability to handle cleaning detergents and adhere to occupational health and safety protocols.
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Capability to operate elementary cleaning equipment and willingness to work extended hours if required.
