What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of SAPS premises to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including polishing furniture and floors, vacuuming carpets, and mopping.
- Remove refuse and maintain cleanliness in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Uphold confidentiality and handle classified documents according to the relevant protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and other officials in a professional manner.
- Be willing to extend work hours when necessary to meet operational needs.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in performing the core cleaning functions of the role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
- A valid ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7 certificate (NQF Level 1 as recognized by SAQA).
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents and adhere to occupational health and safety protocols.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Capability to operate elementary cleaning equipment and willingness to work extended hours if required.
