What You’ll Do

  • Provide routine cleaning services to maintain hygiene standards in the office and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in the upkeep of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Notify your supervisor of areas that require special attention.
  • Perform cleaning duties in various locations, including offices, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Empty dustbins and manage waste disposal efficiently.
  • Request cleaning supplies from the stores as needed.
  • Report any defects or maintenance issues within the workplace to your supervisor.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of 10/ABET or an equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to perform manual cleaning tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in cleaning roles is an advantage.
  • Physical fitness to lift heavy objects and operate cleaning machinery.
  • Willingness to work outside normal hours, including weekends or public holidays as required.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and hygiene principles.
  • Strong personal and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of Batho Pele Principles.
