About the Role
The Department of Social Development is seeking dedicated Cleaners for several posts based in the Capricorn District and Vhembe District in Limpopo. These positions are critical to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at various facilities, including the Andrew Mehlape One Stop Centre, the Seshego Treatment Centre, and the Thohoyandou Children’s Home. What You’ll Do
- Provide thorough cleaning services to maintain hygiene standards in various facilities.
- Keep and manage cleaning materials and equipment effectively.
- Request and oversee the supply of necessary cleaning materials.
- Implement and maintain hygiene and infection prevention measures across all service areas.
What You’ll Need
- A Junior Certificate or equivalent qualification (STD 8/Grade 10/AET/ABET).
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and basic safety and hygiene practices.
- Understanding of infection control and hazard monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
