What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement the Business Continuity Ethics and Compliance Risk Management Frameworks, Strategies, and Protocols.
  • Conduct business impact analysis to identify potential threats within various business units.
  • Facilitate the development of the business continuity plan in conjunction with other department role players.
  • Coordinate the implementation of ethics programs across the department.
  • Establish and maintain an ethical culture and philosophy within the department.
  • Conduct awareness and training programs on ethics management and business continuity.
  • Compile reports for various committees, monitoring the effectiveness of the business continuity management framework.
  • Manage the resources and performance of the sub-directorate, contributing to strategic planning and budgeting processes.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF level 6 in Risk Management, Auditing, or a related field, with at least three years’ experience in a management or Assistant Director role.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and relevant Treasury Regulations.
  • Experience with risk management principles and practices, including Business Continuity Management and ethics management policies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and financial management skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and the willingness to be available after hours.
