What You’ll Do
- Provide thorough cleaning services for office corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
- Dust, wax, and maintain office furniture and surfaces.
- Sweep, scrub, and wax floors, as well as vacuum and shampoo carpeted areas.
- Clean walls, windows, and doors to ensure a tidy appearance.
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly, collecting and removing waste papers.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, including washing and restocking kitchen utensils.
- Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies like soap, toilet paper, and hand towels.
- Report broken cleaning equipment and maintain cleaning materials and tools.
- Clean and service cleaning machines after use, ensuring they are ready for the next shift.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 08, ABET, or AET qualification, or a qualification at NQF level 02 recognized by SAQA.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and health and safety measures.
- Understanding of workplace procedures and standards.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and organize tasks effectively.
