What You’ll Do
- Supervise and administer employee conditions of service and remuneration.
- Oversee pension, housing allowance, and long service benefits.
- Ensure new employees complete employment contracts and manage leave requests.
- Maintain accurate staff files, including employment contracts and leave forms.
- Administer the payroll and address all related queries.
- Compile reports for management on HR-related matters.
- Facilitate recruitment processes, including job advertisements and interview arrangements.
- Manage records for the college, ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
- Adhere to relevant policies and manage resources effectively within the unit.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 / Matric / Level 4 Certificate.
- A 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Human Resource environment.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.
- Understanding of the PERSAL system and the legislative framework governing public services.
- Strong planning, organizing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and provide excellent customer care.
- Competence in report writing and teamwork.
