What You’ll Do
- Compile accurate financial statements and manage departmental budgets.
- Develop and implement effective financial management processes.
- Monitor accounting systems and ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Provide timely reports and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Oversee compliance with financial management legislation such as PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
- Manage the supply chain and asset management services.
- Coordinate audits and facilitate forensic investigations as necessary.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans.
- Mentor and coach staff to enhance performance and professional growth.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 and an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Financial Management.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience at a senior managerial level.
- CA qualification is an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management in the public service.
