What You’ll Do

• Compile accurate financial statements and manage departmental budgets.
• Develop and implement effective financial management processes.
• Monitor accounting systems and ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Provide timely reports and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with financial management legislation such as PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
• Manage the supply chain and asset management services.
• Coordinate audits and facilitate forensic investigations as necessary.
• Lead the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans.
• Mentor and coach staff to enhance performance and professional growth.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 and an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Financial Management.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience at a senior managerial level.
• CA qualification is an added advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong leadership, financial management, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management in the public service.
