What You’ll Do
- Oversee the management of the Chief Directorate, ensuring alignment with strategic service delivery goals.
- Develop and implement business plans addressing critical welfare service needs.
- Manage human and financial resources efficiently to optimize service delivery.
- Facilitate the performance management of managers within your team.
- Promote and evaluate sustainable social welfare programs aimed at various demographics.
- Lead initiatives for crime prevention through restorative services.
- Collect and analyze data for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Degree in Social Work (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years of credible experience at a Senior Managerial level.
- Postgraduate qualification in Social Sciences is an advantage.
- Proven strategic leadership and business partnering skills.
- Strong research, policy management, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of social development legislation and public finance management.
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
