What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee training and skills development initiatives for rural communities.
• Identify training opportunities that align with socio-economic needs.
• Develop and implement effective skills development strategies and programmes.
• Ensure quality assurance of skills development programmes.
• Monitor and evaluate training initiatives to assess impact and effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders to mobilize resources and support.
• Oversee the delivery of skills development institutions and national exit opportunities.
• Provide project management services and report on programme progress regularly.
• Facilitate youth development programmes in alignment with priority areas.
• Manage policies, financial services, and operational practices for NARYSEC.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Education, Skills Development, or related fields (NQF Level 7).
• A Nyukela certificate (Pre-entry Certificate to the SMS) must be submitted before appointment.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior managerial role within education and training.
• Strong knowledge of integrated rural development and project management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Proven abilities in financial management, report writing, and strategic planning.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
