What You’ll Do

  • Lead infrastructure programme and project planning in accordance with the IDMS.
  • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of various construction projects.
  • Manage project commissioning and evaluation processes.
  • Conduct research on best practices and innovative technologies in building asset management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and professional councils to enhance project outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to candidates and junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and operational standards.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring budget adherence and transparency.

What You’ll Need

  • National Higher Diploma, B Tech, Degree, or Honors Degree in a Built Environment field.
  • Registration as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr CPM) with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
  • A minimum of six years of post-qualification experience in construction project management.
  • Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to travel within the Western Cape and occasionally nationally.
  • Strong competency in programme and project management, financial management, and people management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to create a high-performance culture.
