What You’ll Do
- Lead infrastructure programme and project planning in accordance with the IDMS.
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of various construction projects.
- Manage project commissioning and evaluation processes.
- Conduct research on best practices and innovative technologies in building asset management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and professional councils to enhance project outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to candidates and junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and operational standards.
- Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring budget adherence and transparency.
What You’ll Need
- National Higher Diploma, B Tech, Degree, or Honors Degree in a Built Environment field.
- Registration as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr CPM) with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
- A minimum of six years of post-qualification experience in construction project management.
- Valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
- Willingness to travel within the Western Cape and occasionally nationally.
- Strong competency in programme and project management, financial management, and people management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to create a high-performance culture.
