What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage nursing services during night duty, ensuring high standards of care.
• Coordinate person-centered care by establishing and monitoring care standards.
• Participate in policy and guideline development to enhance nursing practices.
• Oversee nursing quality improvement projects and monitor care standards.
• Manage human and financial resources effectively on night shifts.

What You’ll Need

• A Basic R425 qualification (Diploma/Degree in Nursing) or equivalent that allows for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in one of the R212 specialties, accredited with the SANC, with a minimum of one year’s duration.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in nursing after obtaining registration with the SANC, with at least 6 years in a relevant specialty.
• A minimum of 3 years of management-level experience.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing legislation and ethical practices, along with strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
