What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and administer the provincial clinical placement framework.
  • Ensure compliance with SANC, HPCSA, and WCDHW prescripts for clinical placements.
  • Liaise with educational institutions regarding student placements and accreditation.
  • Monitor and maintain databases related to clinical placements and training.
  • Prepare reports on placement and accreditation status as required.
  • Provide operational support and advice on nursing education and clinical placements.
  • Identify and manage resources related to nursing education and training.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent allowing registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
  • Post-basic nursing qualification in Nursing Education, accredited with SANC.
  • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in nursing with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing education legislation and clinical placement frameworks.
  • Strong skills in information management, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
