What You’ll Do
- Implement the TB recovery plan and ensure effective execution of TB activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and district management teams to enhance TB and HIV programs.
- Monitor and analyze the TB program cascade to improve treatment initiation rates for adults and children.
- Facilitate the development of the District TB program and monitor budget allocation.
- Provide support for quality screening and identify missing cases to improve service delivery.
- Conduct performance reviews and participate in the Gauteng Province Turnaround Strategy.
- Promote quality nursing care in alignment with national standards and frameworks.
- Ensure the availability of performance reports and operational plans.
What You’ll Need
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- A minimum of 8 years of nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse.
- At least 3 years of experience at a management level, specifically in HAST or TB coordination.
- Current registration with the SANC and a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of health, nursing, and public service legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy is mandatory, along with experience in clinical HAST and TB services.
