What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) and its Secretariat
  • Coordinate sport transformation initiatives effectively
  • Capture, verify, and cross-check data received from various federations
  • Distribute and follow up on data sheets from National Federations
  • Conduct research to assist in report writing and data analysis
  • Maintain accurate Master Data Sheets and ensure timely updates
  • Track and follow up on action items and resolutions from meetings
  • Liaise with stakeholders to facilitate communication and clarify discrepancies
  • Prepare relevant documents, including minutes, reports, and correspondence
  • Assist in financial administration activities, including monitoring expenditure

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate/Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of a three-year National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF level 7) in Public Administration, Business Management, or a relevant qualification
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in administrative support, particularly in secretariat roles for sport transformation
  • Knowledge of public service regulations and the sport sector in South Africa
  • Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and document management
  • Strong minute-taking, planning, and organising skills
