What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the development and execution of policies related to social justice and women’s empowerment.
- Provide input on drafting legislative proposals and amendments to existing policies.
- Conduct research and gender analysis to inform policy content and recommendations.
- Maintain a database of stakeholders and ensure their active participation in program implementation.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems for social initiatives.
- Serve as secretariat support, managing logistical arrangements and providing general office support.
- Compile reports on program implementation and follow up on stakeholder inquiries related to gender-based violence issues.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and a Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Social or Human Sciences, Development Studies, or Social Work.
- A valid driver’s license (not applicable for persons with disabilities).
- A minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of women’s empowerment initiatives and gender-related policies.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and an understanding of Batho Pele Principles.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
