What You’ll Do
- Supervise the implementation of the School Sport Programme according to the Western Cape School Sport Strategy.
- Ensure adherence to proper procedures for equipment, attire, and procurement.
- Coordinate regular participation in inter-school leagues and manage related reporting.
- Collect and compile statistics, maintain participant databases, and prepare reports to monitor development.
- Facilitate alignment between curriculum development and sports activities, supporting talent identification and development pathways.
What You’ll Need
- A 3-year National Diploma or B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification).
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a sport development working environment.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and best practices related to sports management.
- Competence in project management, operational management, and procurement processes.
- Excellent numeracy, computer literacy, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and networking abilities, with a focus on research and performance management.
