What You’ll Do
- Conduct socio-economic analyses to evaluate the NSF’s projects and programmes.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses to assess the value of NSF initiatives.
- Analyze the demand for critical skills within various sectors of the economy.
- Estimate the NSF’s contribution to national education and training goals.
- Provide evidence-based support for strategic planning and reporting.
- Draft detailed reports on NSF progress and research findings for publication.
- Collaborate with the Directorate team, ensuring adherence to NSF values and objectives.
- Prepare monthly reports and presentations as required.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate bachelor’s degree or national diploma (NQF Level 6) in Economics, Econometrics, or Statistics.
- A minimum of three to five years of collective working experience in the research field, including three years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of the education system, post-school education, and government legislation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Commitment to service excellence and the ability to work irregular hours and travel extensively.
