What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the project initiation and evaluation process for the NSF.
  • Manage the receipt, logging, and evaluation of project applications.
  • Implement the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for solicited projects.
  • Report on RFP applications throughout various stages of the project initiation process.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and ensure compliance with administrative requirements.
  • Prepare and review Memorandums of Understanding and Service Level Agreements.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation frameworks for projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Funding Adjudication Committee.
  • Coordinate committee meetings and manage related administrative duties.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote effective skills development implementation.
  • Conduct impact assessments and review the effectiveness of projects.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree or national diploma (NQF Level 6) in fields such as Development Studies, Public Management, or Project Management.
  • A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in project management.
  • Proven experience in initiating and evaluating projects in either the public or private sector.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in technical evaluation, report writing, and budgeting.
  • A valid driver’s license and good computer skills.
