What You’ll Do
- Implement the Employee Health and Wellness strategy with a focus on HIV/AIDS.
- Develop and interpret legislative frameworks to ensure compliance with policies.
- Facilitate the integration of HIV/AIDS and related conditions into departmental programs.
- Conduct ongoing research on HIV/AIDS affairs to benchmark best practices.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
- Coordinate health screenings and periodic HIV testing sessions.
- Design and implement capacity-building programs and advocacy activities.
- Develop an annual action plan for HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS interventions.
- Compile reports on the progress and challenges of implemented programs.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid registration with HPCSA or SACSSP.
- Relevant working experience in the field of health and wellness.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Public Service Act and Regulations.
- Understanding of the National Strategic Plan on HIV/AIDS, TB & STIs.
- Strong skills in report writing, communication, and interpersonal relations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
