What You’ll Do
- Manage the collection and recording of revenue for the college.
- Oversee cashier functions, banking services, and electronic payments.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies during the collection and safekeeping of funds.
- Perform bank reconciliations and verify the validity of electronic payments.
- Supervise debt management efforts and liaise with debtors on complex cases.
- Monitor income against budget forecasts and develop corrective measures as needed.
- Oversee payroll transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Manage expenditure related to goods, services, and transfer payments.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate or Matric.
- A recognized National Diploma in Financial Management (NQF 6) or an equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial management environment with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of PSET and CET Acts, PFMA, and Treasury Regulations.
- A valid driver’s license.
