What You’ll Do
- Oversee the maintenance and management of college buildings and premises.
- Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Acts.
- Manage fleet operations and ensure efficient transport services.
- Implement and maintain security functions, including key control and document security.
- Oversee records management to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
- Manage all human, financial, and other resources of the unit.
What You’ll Need
- Matric or NCV Level 4 with a recognized M+3 years Degree or National Diploma in Building Management, Safety Management, or relevant equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management, SHERQ, and OHS environments, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of Public Service Act and Regulations, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
- Familiarity with facilities management systems and related regulations.
