What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance management strategy.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and ongoing compliance monitoring using established tools.
- Facilitate training for departmental employees on compliance awareness and best practices.
- Maintain and update the departmental compliance universe regularly.
- Assist in compiling the annual compliance implementation plan and provide support for compliance reporting.
- Participate in committees that advise on compliance and risk management.
- Align compliance checklists with the department’s strategic and operational plans.
- Research and communicate best practices in compliance management to enhance departmental methodology.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Internal Auditing, Financial Management, Law, Risk Management (NQF Level 6), or related qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in compliance management.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance management principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management practices.
- Dynamic leadership abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- Capability to work under pressure and maintain a customer-focused approach.
