What You’ll Do

• Compile material quantities for plumbing projects and maintenance tasks
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on government buildings
• Monitor and report on project progress and assist in managing Tradesman Aid and Learners
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
• Participate in expeditions to assist other regional offices as needed
• Work in confined spaces and climb ladders for inspections and maintenance tasks

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993 and its regulations
• General knowledge of electrical tools and equipment used in plumbing
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing and working in confined spaces
