What You’ll Do

  • Train offenders and apprentices in welding techniques and safety practices.
  • Execute work assignments based on client orders and specifications.
  • Ensure quality control of all manufactured products to meet standards.
  • Prepare costings and supply quotes for products as required.
  • Perform basic workshop administration and related tasks.
  • Conduct welding maintenance services as needed.
  • Manage resources effectively to support workshop operations.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Trade Test Certificate underwritten by the Manpower Training Act (Red Seal).
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Strong technical analysis skills and knowledge of computer-aided applications.
  • Understanding of legal compliance related to the welding trade.
  • Proficient in technical report writing and production processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on planning and organization.
