About the Opportunity

Andru Mining is offering 10 Blasting Assistant Learnerships at its Kalgold Operation. This four-month program is designed for individuals from recognized local communities surrounding the mine. While this is not a permanent position, it provides significant workplace exposure, enhancing future employment prospects in the mining sector.

Requirements/Qualifications

– Hold a Grade 12/Matric/Std 10 certificate or equivalent
– Be able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness (Red Ticket)
– Have a clean criminal record
– Pass a Dover Test
– Possess a valid driver’s license
– Be willing to train across different shifts
– Demonstrate good communication skills and business understanding
– Be a recognized resident of the local communities, subject to verification
