What You’ll Do

  • Process and check requisitions for procurement of goods and services.
  • Facilitate the quotation process, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Open and evaluate Request for Quotations (RFQs) and ensure proper communication with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of RFQs and vendor details.
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing office logistics and drafting correspondence.
  • Coordinate bid evaluation sessions and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in vendor management by updating vendor information and facilitating new registrations.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior certificate with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • A National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and familiarity with procurement legislation including PFMA and National Treasury Regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, demonstrating effective planning and decision-making capabilities.
